Rivers State Government Signs the Rivers State Value Added Tax Bill into Law
The Governor of Rivers State, Chief (Barr) Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, on 19 August 2021, signed the Rivers State Value Added Tax Bill into Law.
Though the provisions of the signed Rivers State VAT Law (“RVATL” or the “Law”) bares huge similarity to the existing Value Added Tax Act Cap V1 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 (as amended) (VATA)
